Modernization work for Tungabhadra Board Right Bank Canals
Right Bank High Level Canal (105 Km)
- Lining of canal for major length except deep cut portions between Km 0 to Km 105 is completed.
- Due to the completion of modernization of RBHLC from Km 0 to Km 105 i.e., up to AP border) the canal is now able to draw the design discharge of 4000 cusecs (against earlier discharge of 3200 cusecs) at its head and capable of carrying the design discharge of 2575 cusecs at Andhra Pradesh border (against earlier discharge of 1500cusecs). At present, we delivered a discharge of 2350 cusecs last year.
Right Bank Low Level Canal (20+250 Km)
- Power Canal (20 Km)
Lining of canal for major length except deep cut portions between Km 0 to Km 20 is completed.
- RBLLC (250 Km)
The Modernization of RBLLC was planned to be completed in a span of 3-4 years.

Due to partial completion of modernization works in RBLLC (including Power Canal) up to Km 115 has resulted in increased realization of around 1100 cusecs at Km 133 (against earlier realization of 750 cusecs) and around 600 cusecs at Km 250 i.e., AP border.
